Training and Learning Opportunities

In addition, we have previously designed and conducted several in-service mediation training programs based on the Open Space principles (“Opening Up Space for Negotiation!”). For those interested in mediation, we also offer short workshops on respectful communication.

Our offerings range from in-house training sessions and workshops in the context of human resources and/or organizational development—which are planned together with you to meet your specific needs and circumstances—to publicly advertised training courses offered by education providers, as well as in the context of networks, projects, and civic engagement, for example, with the goal of establishing a pool of facilitators.

Our Approach

In our trainings, we lay the groundwork for our participants to develop their understanding of facilitating and shaping group processes, as well as the mindset associated with these activities. Our approach focuses on experiencing formats and methods from the participant’s perspective. In this way, we build real-world experience that enables a deeper understanding of facilitating groups. Reflecting on experiences is an integral part of the learning process. In this way, we engage directly with the learners and create a learning environment that puts the principle of personal responsibility—which underlies the group formats as a guiding philosophy—into practice during the phases of experience and reflection.
